To honor the amazing efforts we are all putting forth in the name of resilience, we are hosting this gathering to deepen our connections to each other and this work. Network with movers and shakers from our movement, learn valuable storytelling skills and help to co-create a Network to build a regenerative, connected and collaborative region. The gathering will facilited by Julian Mocine McQueen of the Million Stories Project.
Our agenda (subject to change) includes:
1:30-2 pm Check-ins and nourshment
We’ll set the stage with a blessing from a representative from a local Native American tribe. Then we will get to know all the movers and shakers in the room, with introductions and an ice breaker.
2:45-3:15 Setting the Stage: About the NorCal Network
Learn more about our organization! From our mission, vision and governing structure. Ask some hard questions and provide feedback. What’s in in for you and your organization?
3:30 – “Sharing Our Stories” with Julian Mocine-McQueen, of The Million Person Project
This section will give you some value skills in storytelling. We’ll get to know each other in this interactive session, from telling our own personal narratives to telling stories about our organizations and projects.
5-6:30 Introduction to the Circle of Collaborators
This interactive session will give you the chance to co-create our Circle, from communications to best practices in collaborations.
6:30-8 pm Dinner and Entertainment
Celebrate the day with an organic, soul-nourishing dinner . We’ll also have some special guests, Poetry, Spoken Word, and Live Music
