From community gardens to mutual aid groups, permaculture design programs to climate justice nonprofits Northern California is blessed with an abundance of organizations working to create a more resilient region through community-based solutions. The vision of the Circle of Collaborators is to create a coalition of these organizations to support learning and sharing, nurture collaborations and share resources. Whether you have collaborated with us in the past or eager to collaborate now, we welcome you!

The Network is committed to prioritizing BIPOC-led grassroots organizations working in frontline and marginalized  communities.

Our Membership Directory is the most direct way that we are currently supporting our members. as we take some time to evaluate our organizational structure and transition to more decentralized and horizontal leadership, centered in racial and social justice.

Our membership currently supports Gift Economy principles. Our offerings are given freely with no requirement of an exchange. At the same time, we hae financial needs to support our organization. We are currently operating with a budget under $50,000, but with a vision to scale up as the need to build community resilience becomes more and more urgent.  We welcome your financial resources, however big or small.

We welcome the following Northern California-based Community Resilience Practitioners as Members:

    • Community-based organizations and projects that are based or working in Northern California (please note that you do not need to be a nonprofit to join)
    • Sites self-designated as resilience hubs, spaces and blocks (please visit our webpage for definitions)
